Interessant ist die folgende Aussage im nachfolgendenText : Paul writes in Galatians 2:7-8 that he was entrusted with the gospel to the uncircumcised (Gentiles), while Peter was entrusted with the gospel to the circumcised (Jews).
Eine Meinung von Pastor Larkins Dsouza: "Roman Catholics claim that Peter was the first bishop of Rome ipso facto the first Pope. The problem with that claim is that it is an UTTER LIE, a total fabrication by the Roman Catholic Religion. Let me explain.. The primary historical source Roman Catholics quote to propagate their lie is Irenaeus of Lyons, writing in Against Heresies (Book 3, Chapter 3, Paragraph 2) around AD 180: "...by indicating that tradition derived from the apostles, of the very great, the very ancient, and universally known Church founded and organized at Rome by the two most glorious apostles, Peter and Paul; as also [by pointing out] the faith preached to men, which comes down to our time by means of the successions of the bishops..." The only problem with that quote is that Peter is mentioned along with Paul founding the Church in Rome. If that quote makes Peter the Pope, why isn't Paul the Pope? The New Testament itself explicitly contradicts the idea of Peter running a Gentile Church. Paul writes in Galatians 2:7-8 that he was entrusted with the gospel to the uncircumcised (Gentiles), while Peter was entrusted with the gospel to the circumcised (Jews). Yet the Roman narrative completely drops Paul from the structural lineage. Dear Christians, protect yourselves from the lies of the Roman Catholic Religion. Study scriptures and Christian history. The same Roman Catholics who quote Paragraph 2 rarely continue to the very next sentence. If you read Paragraph 3, Irenaeus completely destroys the claim that Peter held the local office: "The blessed apostles, then, having founded and built up the Church, committed into the hands of Linus the office of the episcopate. Of this Linus, Paul makes mention in the Epistles to Timothy. To him succeeded Anacletus; and after him, in the third place from the apostles, Clement was allotted the bishopric..." Peter and Paul acted as external, traveling apostles. They jointly committed the local office of the overseer (bishop) to Linus. Linus was the first functional bishop of Rome, not Peter. The unbroken chain starting with Peter at position number one is a retroactive rewrite that occurred centuries later to manufacture an exclusive divine pedigree. The Roman Catholic Religion lied to you for centuries, they used your ignorance of the Scriptures, Christian history and cheat you into believing their lie."
DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR LIES EVER AGAIN. @followers https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=1439853588162461&set=a.409469567867540

Chr ., zugeschrieben .

************CHRISTENVERFOLGUNG IN ROM*****************

How Rome Seized Power and Invented the Papacy
When examining church history objectively through neutral, secular, and academic historical sources, a very different picture emerges of the first few centuries of Christianity. The structural evolution from the decentralized New Testament model to the Roman Catholic Papacy was a gradual, politically driven process born from Rome's unilateral power grab. 1. The First-Century Blueprint: Plurality of Elders (c. 33–100 AD) The Apostolic Model: Throughout the first 100 years of Christianity—documented in the New Testament epistles written between 60 AD and 90+ AD—local churches were never governed by a single regional bishop or a pope. Shared Leadership: Governance was decentralized and led by a plurality of local elders (presbyteroi), who also functioned as overseers (episkopoi) and pastors. No Priestly Caste or Celibacy Mandate: The leaders were ordinary, married community members with families (as explicitly required in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1). There was no concept of an elite, celibate, sacrificial "priest" (sacerdos) mediating between God and man. 2. The Five Great Equal Patriarchates (2nd to 4th Century) In the early centuries following the legalization of Christianity, the global church was not ruled by a single monarch or a Pope. Instead, leadership was shared collectively among five major ancient ecclesiastical centers, historically known as the Pentarchy: 1. Rome (in the West) 2. Constantinople (the capital of the Eastern Roman Empire) 3. Alexandria (in Egypt) 4. Antioch (in Syria) 5. Jerusalem (the birthplace of the church) Absolute Equality: During this era, Rome was not supreme or superior to the others. All five patriarchal centers operated as independent equals, making decisions collectively through ecumenical councils. 3. The Transitional Period (c. 313 – 440 AD) 313 AD (Edict of Milan): The year Emperor Constantine declared Christianity legal and ended persecution. From this point on, although ancient Roman paganism still held some influence, it steadily declined as state power began to shift its support toward Christianity. 380 AD (Edict of Thessalonica): The year Emperor Theodosius I declared Nicene Christianity as the sole official state religion of the Roman Empire. The Succession of Clerical Power: When ancient Roman religion was banned and restricted by the state, the aristocracy and the old administrative system of Roman religion decided to "transform" themselves by entering Christianity. They brought along administrative structures, hierarchical systems, and even the title of Supreme Pontiff (Pontifex Maximus) into the church structure to retain their power. Reaching 440 AD (Pope Leo I): once the Roman administrative system was permanently transferred to the religious institution, Pope Leo I clearly asserted Papal Supremacy in 440 AD, effectively becoming the new "Pontifex Maximus" replacing the ancient Roman emperor ( Paganism ). 4. Rome's Unilateral Claim and the Gradual Creep of Power (c. 440 AD onward) The Initial Claim: Around 440 AD (beginning prominently under Bishop Leo I), the Church of Rome did not instantly force all other churches to bow overnight. Instead, Rome merely made a unilateral "claim" (theoretic assertion) in the name of Rome that its bishop was the direct successor of Peter. Viewed as Prestige, Not Domination: At the time, the other major patriarchal centers (Constantinople, Antioch, Alexandria) viewed this simply as the rhetoric of prestige coming from the bishop of the former imperial capital. They considered it an honorary title, not an actual jurisdiction or legal right to rule over them—which is why they did not launch an immediate total break. The Gradual Creep of Power: This expansion of control happened through a gradual creep of power over generations, moving from words of praise to legal claims and bureaucratic interference. 5. Escalating Conflict and the Final Break: The Great Schism of 1054 AD As the bishop of Rome's meddling and demands grew increasingly aggressive—demanding that everyone respect and submit to his unilateral authority in every matter—the patience of the other churches reached its breaking limit. Friction, resistance, and theological clashes intensified from century to century until it finally culminated in a full breakdown of relations and the Great Schism in 1054 AD: **The Roman Catholic Church: The Western church that fully embraced the absolute rule of the Pope. **The Eastern Orthodox Church: The remaining ancient patriarchal centers that completely cut ties with Rome, refusing to submit to its monarchy. 6. Hijacking the Greek Term "Katholikos": From a Slogan to a Latin Corporate Brand The Original Greek Context: The word was never an original Roman institutional title. Around 110 AD, Ignatius of Antioch wrote his letters entirely in Greek, coining a famous descriptive slogan using the Greek term katholikos (meaning "universal" or "the whole body of believers worldwide"). Ignatius wrote: "Where Jesus Christ is, there is the katholikos church." This described the spiritual community united under Christ, not a political organization seated in Rome. The Later Latin Rebranding: Long after Ignatius and the apostles had passed away, and following the permanent fracture of 1054, Rome strategically hijacked this historical Greek concept. They translated and adapted it into Latin framework, turning it into an exclusive corporate brand name ("Roman Catholic Church"). By monopolizing the term, Rome used it as an ideological weapon to claim that only those under submission to the Latin-speaking Papal system belonged to the true universal church. 7. Post-1054: Weaponizing the "Petrine" Doctrine for Total Control Aggressive Doctrinal Weaponization: Following the absolute fracture of 1054, the Roman Catholic Church heavily intensified its political and ideological strategies. Rome aggressively propagated the doctrine of Petrine Succession—the claim that the Pope was the unbroken, direct successor of Peter. The Sole Ark of Salvation Strategy: This dogma was systematically weaponized to bend the rest of Christendom to submission. Rome actively branded itself as the sole, exclusive vehicle/ark of God on Earth—asserting that outside of submission to the Roman Pontiff, there was no salvation or true church authority. Consolidating Absolute Power: Through a combination of political maneuvering and centralized strategies (such as Pope Gregory VII’s Dictatus Papae in 1073, which declared the Pope above all earthly judgment and rulers), Rome transformed the Papacy into an absolute monarchy designed entirely to ensure that the Roman Catholic Church stood alone as the ultimate, undisputed ruler. Do Your Own Neutral Research: I strongly encourage you to do your own research on Google. Do not rely solely on institutional Catholic sources, which were often curated and manufactured to mask their true historical power motives. Instead, use Google to access neutral, secular, and academic historical records that are neither Catholic nor Protestant, allowing the objective facts of history to speak for themselves.
